Energy saving possibilities
When using Norpe cabinets energy can be saved on different accessory choices or components. With roller blinds in multidecks you can achieve 25% savings in energy consumption. When using external lighting with six rows of shelves you can save up to 50% of the energy consumed by lighting. In Norpe FGD freezer Luxo LED-lights are an option for better internal illumination and energy efficiency. The energy saving fan motors save energy. The most effective ones in the market save over 50% of the energy consumed with the regular fan motors. All Norpe remote cabinets can be equipped with energy saving fans. Glass lids are no longer bar for sales. When using glass lids in freezer islands you can get 40% savings in energy.
However, the easiest way to save energy with Norpe cabinets is to follow the instructions in the user's manual. The cabinets need to be cleaned regularly and the loading of the cabinets should not exceed the marked loading line or block the air circulation.
Recycling
A total of 95% of the material, such as sheet metal, glass , wood, plastics, aluminum, copper and foam, used in Norpe products can be recycled. However, so called energy waste must be handled differently. This kind of mixed waste consist of tapes, silicon, paint powder and urethane components. In recycling matters Norpe works in a close cooperation with the most advanced operator on the European market, Kuusakoski Oy.
