COOP Mega Madla

 
Coop Mega in Madla on approximately 7000 square metres was opened 23 rd of November 2006. This is not only Norway's largest Coop Mega, but also NAS' largest delivery of cool furniture within supermarkets. This is a project we are proud to be selected as a supplier on, together with our Norpe Partner, Roald Kristensen AS in Stavanger. This job has become a very good show window for our cabinets and services. The cold installation has ice water on the cold part and CO2 on the freeze part.



It was very hectic the weeks before the opening day, and all the people involved contributed much more than expected to keep the dead line. The cold and freeze cabinets are from our own standard sortiment, but the fresh food cabinets are upgraded with wood in front and other bumpers. These are actually also standard products, but not very much used in Norway.



It has been a very good dialog with the management in Coop Mega through the whole project period. The great supermarket had a revenue of 3 MNOK on the opening day with approximately 20.000 customers!

Norpe is supplying Esso gas stations with 200 Norcon coolers through Ringnes

"We look upon this as an improved customer service, and that it should be easier for the staff to offer full menu, cold drinks included", says the Category Manager Svein Bergum in Esso Norway AS. "During a few months we have covered 2/3 of our gas stations all over the country with these Norpe-coolers that Ringnes is installating."

Increased sale

"The target is to increase the menu part with more drinks, and thereby increase the sale of half a litre of cool drinks for Esso and Ringnes." says Senior Key Account Manager Anders Eriksen from Ringnes AS. "With the right placing in the store we feel confident that these cold cabinets will contribute in increasing the sale."

Ringnes has invested in 200 plug-in coolers from Norpe. Approximately 100 is already delivered, and the rest of the products is to be delivered consecutively.

"Norcon 70 is a product with high quality and safe operation. This is the model we definitely sell most", says Key Account Manager Vidar Bakken in Norpe.
